Playing Wild is a capsule that captures the essence of a child playing free amongst friends the woodland creatures. A genderless style allows all children to tap into their carefree spirit. Shapes & silhouettes paired with durable fabrics that support unisex dressing plays an important role. Silhouettes will play with an athleisure look, styled under sporty, while offering a relaxed and roomy feel. The color pallet is simple and plays with deep blue greens, grey heather, and some pops colors & quiet neutrals. Graphics are hand drawn and have a child like feel with a focus on playful sayings. As genderless / unisex designs continue to provoke discussion and seemingly still has a strong influence on the socially aware parents, I wanted to design a capsule that would explore further into the genderless dress look in kidswear.
